The Big 12 was the No. 1 conference in overall RPI, strength of schedule, non-conference RPI and non-conference strength of schedule during the regular season.  Seven teams were in the top 47 - the most of any conference.

Seven Big 12 teams (out of 10) that were ranked in the Associated Press Top 25 this season.  Despite having just 10 teams, the Big 12 has had more total teams nationally-ranked this year than any other conference.

Nine Big 12 schools ranked among the top 73 of the ESPN Basketball Power Index (BPI) at the conclusion of the regular season.  Nine teams were in the top 71 of the Sagarin ratings, which also ranked the Big 12 as the No. 1 conference. 

Big 12 teams combined to defeat a total of 44 AP top 25 opponents this season, the most in conference history and the most in the nation. 

Prior to this year, no team in college basketball had won four consecutive games in four straight games played versus AP top 25 foes since 1997. This season, it was done twice - both by Big 12 teams (Kansas, Texas). 

The Big 12 winning percentage in non-conference play of .761 was the best of any conference in the nation.  The league posted a 108-34 mark this season.

Ten wins against top 25 non-conference opponents in 2013-14.  The Big 12 had the most victories of any league against the AP top 25.

The Big 12 had a .500 or better record against 27 of the 30 conferences it faced this season.  

34 non-conference losses by Big 12 teams this season.  It was the fewest of any conference in the nation. 

The Big 12 had five teams ranked in the top 34 nationally in points per game - more than twice as many as any other conference.

Fifty-four of 90 conference games (60%) were decided by 11 points or less, with 44 matchups determined by nine points or fewer.
