Baylor defensive coordinator Phil Snow has been named one of five finalists for the 2019 Broyles Award, as announced by The Frank & Barbara Broyles Foundation.
The finalists were selected from a group of 15 semifinalists and 41 nominees by a selection committee made up of former hall of fame coaches, members of the FWAA and broadcasters. The final five will travel to Little Rock, Arkansas where the winner will be announced on Tuesday, Dec. 10.
The Big 12 has had four previous winners of the Broyles Award, most recently in 2015 when Oklahoma’s Lincoln Riley received the honor.
