West Virginia’s Megan Weaver captured her first Big 12 Runner of the Week award to make it back-to-back weeks that the Mountaineers earned the Conference honor.

Weaver finished with a career-best 5K time of 19:36.2. The redshirt sophomore led her team with the highest-place finish for the Mountaineers as she crossed the line 15^th out of 135 runners from 16 different schools.

The Morgantown, West Virginia native is the second consecutive Mountaineer to earn the accolade after teammate Ceili McCabe took home the honor on October 4.
